The Box

Inspired by Duchamp’s Museum in a suitcase and the Time Capsules designed by Andy Warhol between 1974 and 1987, RESÒ traveling box is a true Fluxus-kit, a sort of archive of memories and traces that presents as a simple cardboard box containing art objects and multiples. Thanks to the instruction booklet, it is transformed into an itinerant “do it yourself” exhibition that can be set up newly each time. Not conditioned by production, but invited to study and research within a new geographic horizon with different methods and practises, artists are asked to design an object- document that tells of experiences they had during the residency and that, year after year, will go to make up the traveling box.
